💡 What We Published This Week 💡
A Primer On AI Agents In Healthcare
The talk of AI agents is expanding in healthcare as we look to automate entire jobs and, long term, departments. How do we get there? What does this mean? How will your company have to adapt in the near future?
Product-Market Fit For Health Companies
Is healthcare the hardest industry to find product-market fit? It’s certainly not an easy path. Complexities lie around every corner and false positives are normal. Competition is only getting more fierce which means you have to achieve product-market fit quickly. This comes from understanding your customer, intelligently creating validation feedback loops, quickly connecting the dots and thinking outside the highly regulated box. This articles details this journey.

Analysing Reddit Communities (Market Research)
When conducting market analysis you want to obtain as many individualised experiences and quantitative data as possible to truly understand the problem. I’ve found locating the right Reddit communities and using AI to analyse the community dynamics provides incredibly valuable information.
Prompt - Analyse the evolution of discussions in [Reddit community] over the past year to identify emerging trends, shifts in consumer sentiment, and key influencers. Perform a cluster analysis to segment the community based on interests and behaviors, and compare these segments across related subreddits. Investigate the impact of viral posts and the role of niche subreddits in shaping opinions about [specific product/service]. Identify recurring language patterns, sentiment shifts, and the most frequently mentioned competitors. On Resilience
Healthcare is one of the most demanding industries. Whether it is the business you serve or the complex business environment you operate in there’s a significant amount of resilience required. These are 4 tools that are proven to build resilience
Resilience Is The Default: Most people recover from serious emotional faceplants without ever gracing a therapist’s couch. Your body has natural resilience baked in and you will have demonstrated it before. Think back to last time and begin to embody that same resilience.
Talk To Someone: Even if you are just unloading on someone and they’re not really helping craft any solutions, you often get the negative attitude out of you just by thinking out loud.
Emotional Flexibility: It’s about embracing the chaos of human feelings. Sit with them as long as you need to. I guarantee you will quickly realise your emotional response is not as significant as the problem itself.
Build Systems: Having a protocol to fall back on when you can’t think of what to do is incredibly helpful to avoid spiralling. Even if the bottom layer of the system is to just go for a walk.
🏥 Company Spotlight 🏥 → Nucleus
Who Are Nucleus?
Nucleus Genomics is a company focused on providing comprehensive genetic testing and analysis through whole-genome sequencing (WGS). Their aim is to bring the benefits of personalised medicine to the public by offering advanced DNA analysis. Their approach involves sequencing the entire genome, which provides a more comprehensive understanding of an individual's genetic makeup compared to traditional genetic tests that analyse only a small fraction of the DNA
Why Are They In The Spotlight?
The genomics and preventative healthcare markets are exploding in popularity right now as companies look to take advantage of the growing demand for proactive healthcare.
What Are They Getting Right?
Nucleus places a strong emphasis on data privacy and security, ensuring that users' genetic information is protected. They have implemented stringent security measures to safeguard personal data, and they emphasise the importance of maintaining confidentiality in their reports and analyses.
What Can You Learn From Them?
Nucleus is definitely a lesson on leading D2C health marketing. They went after popular figures in the optimised self space who command a large audience of those who pursue similar ends. Instead of targeting traditional healthcare or aggressive consumer marketing they carefully identified figures that held a trustworthy position in the industry and utilised their authority to create a wedge in the market.

❔ Question Of The Week ❔
What is the central thesis to what you’re most purposeful about that you have an incredible conviction in that will play out over the next decade?
What’s My Answer You (Didn’t) Ask?
That we have not yet fully realised the potential of collaboration in the industry. Too many misaligned incentives, systemic issues, technology aversions and medical overlaps have made working together on our most pressing problems a difficult experience. One of the biggest unlocks of transforming human health, lifespan and healthspan will be dramatically different collaboration structures.
Your Answer?
Think out loud in the comments section below. I’d love to hear your perspective.
💚 Inspired 💚
We often forget the impact we have on people’s lives, how ever connected to the end patient we are. Remember, your work really matters
